To change the light bulb, you need very small fingers because the opening is very tight. The glass globe fits onto the ceramic base via a round, metal nut. If you tighten it too much, the ceramic base will crack. I had to use a needle nosed plier to extend my finger reach to tighten the round nut.product was used for our guest bathroom. It was just what we were looking forpackaging design is suboptimal and first one came broken. two glass shades were stuffed inside each other and cracked from pressure without any signs of external impact to the package. this is a design flaw. however it looked so good that i had it replaced instead of returning it and i'm glad i did - it looks great in my bathroom ! if you want a bold modern look for your bathroom this light is great. the light itself is also very heavy and not flimsy at all - it's just the packaging that was poor. i have to subtract one star for poor packaging.First one arrived with glad rattling in box and metal dented in most two places. Mfr was nice when I called. Ordered new one and it was all good. Easy to install. Looks goods nice amount of light for six lights from one connection.Sending the other one back was a pain due to shards of glass, which were all over my renovated bathroom.Great lighting fixture- extremely well made and well worth the price - loads of light added to our remodeled bath. We added a rheostat easily with long life dimmable bulbs and it gives us all the flexibility we could want. Definitely a high end look fixture and would recommend it as a purchase you won't regret. Do note- this is a heavy light so be sure that you have the ability to anchor it well- it was an easy install.Very easy to install and comes with everything you need for replacing and existing light. My builders only put three wires out of a one inch hole for the runway light that it replaced so o did have to install it with an after drywall installed box but the whole project still only took me 30 mins.Not much to say. We saw a smaller version at a store and ordered the 6 light version. It was as expected and looks great in our bathroom.Whomever is shipping these fixtures need to work on their packaging skills. I had to return the first one I bought and got a discount on the 2nd one because the base was dented. Regardless of the dent, this fixture is AWESOME. Very sturdy and well made.This light fixture looks amazing in the bathroom. Very classy touch. I like it!
