The Sargento shredded cheeses work very well in the freezer. Maybe it's the larger size of the shreds, but I have no problem taking a little bit out of the bag when I keep it frozen. I do this with the cheddar variety, too.Only buy sargentoI make homemade pizza very often (at least once a week). I use Amazon's sauce (I stock up on it when it is 69 cents). I add some garlic and pizza / Italian seasonings, then this mozzarella, some home shredded parmesan, and sometimes some pepperoni.I've used other brands, but, this one is just the best pre cut mozzarella I have tried (I've tried most out there). It is slightly more expensive, but, worth it. I can make about 3 pizzas per bag (sometimes just 2, depends on size of pizza and how cheesy I want to get).I'm sure it's great for other mozzarella uses too; but, so far I've just used ot for pizza.
